Dear KJSC Alumni, Welcome back! I’m excited to stay engaged with the KJSC Family and keep alumni updated on campus happenings. KSJC celebrated the start of it’s 12th school year this Fall with the entering class of 2023. As a community, we continue to work in supporting all of our students to engage in their education, in their journey to become college and career ready. Of notable highlights in the classroom, we are now offering the AP Computer Science course to over eighty five students and a total of sixteen Advanced Placement courses across campus.
While academics play a central role in the work that we do, we are committed to supporting our students’ passions and talents. I am proud to share that our extracurricular opportunities continue to thrive, with active student participation in our athletic programs and student clubs. The Cross Country and Girls’ volleyball teams this Fall season are both fielding competitive teams vying for top spots in our league and a birth in the end of season CCS championships. Our Theatre, Debate, Girls Who Code, and Robotics teams to name a few, also are boasting healthy memberships and new club continue to emerge each year.
We hope that you come back to visit soon and use the Alumni Magazine to stay connected with your fellow alumni. It is always a privilege for the KSJC staff to see alumni back on campus and hear about all of the happenings in your lives. As one of our traditions at KSJC, we will be hosting the 11th annual Winter Holiday Festival on Friday, December 6th. We hope that many of you will be able to join us for this community event!
